Why we are creating a creator subscription platform.
We recently started creating our first creator subscription platform, as one of our initiatives to help monetize social media influencers. In this blog post, I will explain very briefly why we chose to do so.

0% cut on all subscriptions, donations & more.
Unlike our competitors, we do not take any cuts on payments. The most known competitor charges a 20% fee on all subscriptions. Let’s put this into perspective. If a fan donates $5 to a creator, the creator would only receive $4. Since we take zero cuts, the creator would receive the full sum of $5. In the big picture, 20% vs 0% cuts make a HUGE difference!
More ways to subscribe.
We understand that people use a wide range of online payment services. There is not one that works for everyone. Not one that everyone uses. That’s why we are adding more payment methods for fans. Most conventional platforms “only” allow users to pay with their credit card or through PayPal. Although these are the most popular, I believe that we will see higher revenues if we integrate extra payment methods.
We are also going to release a truly special feature, that will save people a lot of money on subscription costs & in some cases the full amount.
More perks for fans.
There has to be a reason to pay the subscription cost. We must care equally about the creators and the fans. Afterall, it is the fans who will spend their hard earned money — in the hopes of unlocking an exclusive experience of their favorite content creator.
The current subscription platforms offer very limited perks to fans for subscribing, which is in our opinion, the most important part of a subscription platform.

Clean content.
It is important for us to keep the content on the platform clean. That is why we prohibit sexual, violent & offensive content. We are doing this mainly because we don’t see any value in such content. We want neither ourselves nor one of our content creators to profit from such content.
It’s time to make subscription platforms innovate and adapt to new standards
Thank you for reading this blog post! We still have way to go, and this blog post only covered a very small amount of what we seek to do. Our public release will happen sometime in 2021. If you’re a social media influencer looking to monetize, feel free to sign up to our beta here.
